Freshwater West and Harry Potter

This shellhouse was built in the dunes on Freshwater West beach for the filming of the latest Harry Potter movie. Constructed out of timber it was completely covered in real seashells. Sadly it has now been taken down. The beach has been closed off recently to the public yet again during the production on the seashore of "Robin Hood" starring Russell Crowe. Thankyou to Janet for sending in this photo before the demise of the shellhouse.
